The Nurse Practitioner is available for urgent, same day appointments, for adults and children over 1 year with minor illnesses. Monday & Tuesday mornings and also has Anti-coagulation clinic on a Wednesday.

Practice Nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning,chidhood immunisations, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks,foreign travel advice and vaccinations. The Practice Nurses also run clinics for long-term health conditions such as Asthma, COPD and Diabetes, they also carry out cervical smears.

Assistant Pratitioner

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.

Available Tuesday – Friday mornings & afternoons for new patient checks, bloods and BP’s, ear syringing, B12 injections, stitch removal, ECG’s, BP Monitors & Anti-coagulation clinic appointments.
