If you need to see a doctor urgently outside of normal surgery hours telephone NHS 111, calls are free from landlines and mobiles.

This is a 24 hour a day helpline with qualified, experienced nurses who are able to advise you on your health needs / concerns.

Local Walk-in Centres

Your local walk-in centre is Ashton Primary Care Centre. This clinic deals with urgent appointments & treatments. The clinic is open 08:00 – 20:00 – seven days a week.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
